Starting Dec. 16, 2011, I issued a challenge to myself to take and post a photo a day. Beyond that, there are no rules. It can be something I shot for my work at the paper or a client, or it may be a personal photo. But for 366 days - 2012 is a leap year, y'all - I will pick up a camera and take a shot and share it.

July 28, 2012 - I know this looks like just a cameraphone snapshot, but I was actually working this a little bit after the combination of sunset light and red guitar caught my eye. I thought about running and grabbing one of my DSLRs, but I was a bit worried I'd lose too much sun by the time I got back down, so I just worked with the HTC to try to get a flare of sunlight but preserve the guitar color in the image. July 28, 2012 - I know this looks like just a cameraphone snapshot, but I was actually working this a little bit after the combination of sunset light and red guitar caught my eye. I thought about running and grabbing one of my DSLRs, but I was a bit worried I'd lose too much sun by the time I got back down, so I just worked with the HTC to try to get a flare of sunlight but preserve the guitar color in the image.   • July 28, 2012 - At the office retirement party for Sue, I noticed what a great backdrop Michelle's bookshelf was. Then there was this nice interaction between Sue and her - now - former boss. (When I got it on a bigger screen, I also noticed the cameraphone's shutter speed was a tad slow with the available light in the room.) (225/366)
