Starting Dec. 16, 2011, I issued a challenge to myself to take and post a photo a day. Beyond that, there are no rules. It can be something I shot for my work at the paper or a client, or it may be a personal photo. But for 366 days - 2012 is a leap year, y'all - I will pick up a camera and take a shot and share it.

Feb. 7, 2012 - I've written about looking through my viewfinder to see stars like Itzhak Perlman and Switchfoot. Don Aters has looked through his and seen at least three Beatles, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, and many other rock 'n' roll legends. I shot him today at Solaris Gallery in Versailles working on a story about a show of his rock photos that is up until March 3. That's a young B.B. King in the photo next to him and Ron Wood with The Faces over his shoulder. (54/366)
