Starting Dec. 16, 2011, I issued a challenge to myself to take and post a photo a day. Beyond that, there are no rules. It can be something I shot for my work at the paper or a client, or it may be a personal photo. But for 366 days - 2012 is a leap year, y'all - I will pick up a camera and take a shot and share it.

  • April 3, 2012 - What better way to spend a beautiful spring afternoon than a senior shoot out at Camp Burnamwood. Kevin's shoot involved a drum, a rapper painting and some brand new UK national championship swag, but this shot caught my eye on the first quick edit. More to come. (110/366)

  • May 7, 2012 - Experimental day messing around with Hipstamatic for iPad. Not quite as knocked out as I thought I'd be, but maybe I need to play more. Either way, always nice to show Pretty Kitty. (144/366)
  • April 11, 2012 - Day two of Bryan Station High School "Schoolhouse Rock Live" pics. How many of you know the preamble to the Constitution by the "School House Rock" song? Can you sing it in a chorus line? Watch out. Here's the shameless plug again: The show is is at 7:30 p.m. April 13 and 14. Tickets are $8 adults and $5 students and kids. (118/366)
  • April 10, 2012 - As cool it is to shoot plays and musicals all around town for the paper, it is even cooler when you get to shoot your own kid's musical for the production. Yay! But even then, you want to get shots that illustrate the action of the show. Here, in School House Rock Live, the singer of "Elbow Room" gets elbowed out by the extras. By the way (shameless plug warning), if you want to see Bryan Station High School's "School House Rock", it is at 7:30 p.m. April 13 and 14. Tickets are $8 adults and $5 students and kids. (117/366)
